NEPSE increases by 60.41 points

KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd (NEPSE) has increased by 60.41 points on Sunday, the first trading day of the week.

With today’s increment, the index has reached 2584.91 points.

A total of 7.160 million shares of 240 companies traded today resulting in a turnover of Rs 4.12 billion.

Of the 13 groups that traded, the index of 12 groups has increased. The largest increase was in the manufacturing group at 5.08 percent.

Similarly, the share price of Development Bank increased by 3.42 percent, non-life insurance by 3.54 percent, finance by 2.88 percent, life insurance by 2.42 percent, investment group by 2.17 percent, and others by 2.3 percent.

As the indices of the 12 groups increased, the value of collective investment funds decreased by 0.39 percent. Similarly, shares of any company could not be traded at a positive circuit level today.

The four companies have an average turnover of 10 percent. Himal Distillery had a turnover of 9.99 percent, Madhya Bhotekoshi Hydropower 9.97 percent, Surya Life Insurance 9.29 percent, and Rashtriya Bima Company 9.21 percent.

Similarly, Himalayan Distillery topped the list in terms of turnover on this day. The company had a turnover of Rs 449.4 million.
