First lady Arju Rana Deuba meets BJP leader Dr. Chauthaiwale in New Delhi

KATHMANDU: First lady Arju Rana Deuba has called on India’s ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Dr. Vijay Chauthaiwale, in New Delhi, Sunday.

BJP Foreign Affairs Department Chief Dr. Chauthaiwale informed about the meeting with Nepal’s first lady via his official Twitter handle.

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba is also scheduled to attend Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit that kicks off on January 10. First lady Rana Deuba is in India to facilitate the PM’s visit.

Earlier, when Dr. Chauthaiwale was on a four-day visit to Kathmandu in August 2021, the first lady had also tied ‘Rakhi’ on his hand at the PM’s residence in Baluwatar.
