7 killed in Palpa bus accident, 8 injured

PALPA: At least seven people have been killed in a bus accident at Palpa Ribdikot-2 Laguwa in Palpa district.

Seven persons died on the spot when a bus (Lu 2 Kha 7279) carrying people going for a funeral from Butwal to Gulmi met with an accident.

Eight people were injured in the accident, according to police.

There were 35 passengers and a dead body in the bus.

Police have reached the spot.

Police said that rescue work is underway.
