KATHMANDU: US Ambassador to Nepal Dean Richard Thompson paid a courtesy call on Chief of Army Staff Prabhuram Sharma.
In the meeting held at Nepal Army headquarters, Bhadrakali today, matters of bilateral relations and mutual interest were discussed, according to the NA Directorate of Public Relations and Information.
The NA has also expressed the confidence that such meetings would help strengthen the relationship subsisting between the two countries.
