HUMLA: A woman died due to delivery-related complication in the district today.
She is Rangita Shahi, 20, of Adanchuli rural municipality-5.
The nearest health facility is six hours walk from Shahi’s village.
Bal Bahadur Shahi, relative of Rangita, complained that Rangita died while giving birth to the child after they could not take her to the hospital on time due to lack of transport facility.
Earlier, Pabitra Shahi, 24, of Sarkegad rural municipality-7 died in the village due to excessive bleeding in lack of treatment one month ago.
