One dead, seven injured in Dhading road accident



DHADING: A person died and seven others were injured in a road mishap at Hanumandanda of Nilakantha municipality-10 in Dhading district this afternoon.

The identity of the deceased is to be ascertained yet, according to the District Police Office, Dhading.

The accident took place when a truck (Na 4 Kha 8041) coming from Kapilvastu to Salyantar via Dhadingbeshi overturned, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Shyam Bahadur Khatri.

The injured have been receiving treatment at Dhading Hospital.

Among them, five are in a critical condition, police said.

The truck that met with an accident was carrying the goods to set up a stall in the upcoming Fair in locality, said Manish Tamang, a local witness.
