Gulchhi-Devighat road resumes after 28 hours



TRISHULI: Vehicular movement along Gulchhi-Devighat road section under ‘Galchhi-Trishuli-Mailung-Syaphrubesi-Rasuwagadhi project
has resumed from Friday night after 28 hours.

The road was obstructed from Thursday afternoon after dry landslide occurred at Budhsingh of Belkotgadhi municipality-7 in Nuwakot district, said Ram Bidari Chaudhary, officiating Chief of office of ‘Galchhi-Trishuli-Mailung-Syaphrubesi-Rasuwagadhi project.

Chaudhary shared, “The road has resumed for the time being after removing landslide debris. Precaution should be adopted while moving as there is still risk of landslide.”

With the resumption of traffic, vehicles, stranded at the road following landslide, have headed towards their destinations, said Chief of Traffic Police Office, Nuwakot, Gunanidhi Khakurel.
