Jeep knocks down pedestrian in Bajhang



BAJHANG: A pedestrian died when a jeep hit him in Bajhang on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as Gagan Okheda, 60, of Bitthadchir rural municipality-9.

A jeep (Sudurpschim Province 0100 Cha 2690) bound to Bagthala from Deura Bazaar, Kedarseu rural municipality-1,  knocked the pedestrian while he was walking along the bazaar area, DSP at District Police Office Jageswor Bhandari shared.

Okheda died on the spot.

Jeep driver Deependra Dhami, a resident of Bungal municipality-6, had been at large after the incident, police said.
