Muglin-Narayangadh road obstructed due to mudslides

KATHMANDU: The Muglin-Narayangadh road section has been obstructed affecting vehicular movement.

According to Muglin Police, mudslides and landslides induced by continuous rain fell along the road in Kerabari in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-29 of Chitwan.

The landslides took place around 5:30 am this morning and rain was hindering efforts to clear the road.

District Traffic Police Office, Chitwan, said a team has been deployed to remove the stone.

Earlier, the Muglin-Narayangadh road section was opened from 8:30 yesterday (Wednesday) morning after clearing landslide debris that had obstructed the road since Tuesday night.

As there is a high risk of landslides, the police have requested to take information about the condition of the road while traveling on the Muglin-Narayangadh road.
