Jajarkot-Dolpa road obstructed



DOLPA: Jajarkot-Dolpa road has been disrupted since this morning. Transport service has been halted after road disruption due to landslide at Nalgad municiplaity-8, Maluwa in Jajarkot.

Locals of Rukum-West, Dolpa and Jajarkot districts are facing trouble following obstruction to road traffic.

Nalgad municipality mayor Dambar Rawat said efforts are underway to clear off the road.

The road section has been disrupted frequently due to fragile road and steep terrace.

The road which was constructed by the Nepal Army is now under the process of up-gradation.

Passengers of Dolpa have been stranded since this morning when the air service was completely halted due to bad weather condition.

Locals said it would take long time to carry our maintenance as big boulders are blocking the road.
