Bhadrapur-bound Buddha Air aircraft diverted to Kathmandu due to technical glitches



KATHMANDU: A flight of Buddha Air bound for Bhadrapur has been diverted to Kathmandu after noticing some problems with tyres.

Buddha Air spokesperson Dipendra Karna informed that the plane was diverted to Kathmandu shortly after take-off after noticing some problems with the tires of the plane.

According to him, flight number 953 of Buddha Air that flew to Bhadrapur was immediately diverted and landed safely in Kathmandu due to some technical glitches.

Karna further said a technical team is currently inspecting the aircraft.

There were a total of 69 passengers on board the plane. They have been sent via another flight of Buddha Air, said Karna.
