Govt slashes infrastructure tax on diesel and petrol by Rs 10

KATHMANDU: The government has reduced the infrastructure tax on diesel and petrol.

According to a source at the Ministry of Finance, it has decided to reduce the infrastructure tax on diesel and petrol by Rs 10 per liter.

“We have reduced the price by 10 rupees and sent it to the Ministry of Industry on Tuesday,” a ministry source said.

With the reduction in infrastructure tax on diesel and petrol, the price will also be adjusted, said the said.
