Candidates of other parties not worthy of being talked: UML Chair Oli

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chairperson KP Sharma Oli has said candidates of other parties in the local elections are not worthy of attention.

Speaking at a program organized by General Federation of Nepalese Trade Unions (GEFONT) in Kathmandu on the occasion of International Workers’ Day on Sunday, Oli said that it was right of the candidates of other parties to become candidates, however, it was not necessary to discuss about them.

He called on all to make the UML candidates victorious instead of candidates of other parties deserving less attention.

Stating that in the past also the UML had begun work of developing and making Kathmandu clean, he said his party would again work to make the metropolis prosperous.

Stressing that UML was a pro-workers party, he also urged to clearly state problems faced by labor, if any.

Chairman Oli also directed cadres to go among the people with the party’s local level manifesto.
