13 minors killed in Columbia mine blast



KATHMANDU: As many as 13 people have been killed in a mine explosion in Columbia.

An explosion occurred in a coal mine based in La Chapa in the north of Columbia. According to a local official, scores of Columbian nationals had lost their lives in a coal mine explosion located in this region a few years ago.

Earlier, the minors had lost their lives after the mine exploded suddenly, the official said. Mines in Columbia are insecure from the point of industrial security, international news agencies have reported.
