UML-affiliated students show black flags to ministers demanding announcement of local election date



KATHMANDU: Demanding the announcement of the date of local elections, students affiliated with CPN-UML demonstrated in front of the ministers’ quarters in Pulchowk on Tuesday morning.

ANNFSU, a sister organization of the main opposition CPN-UML, has been demanding the government to announce the date of local elections immediately.

They protested demanding the government to immediately announce the date for the local elections.

The government has not yet announced a date for holding local elections in May.
