KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has appointed Under-Secretary Rajesh Prasad Pokharel as the board member of the Rastriya Samachar Samiti (RSS).
The appointment is made as per the decision of the Ministry on December 29, 2021 and in line with Clause 8 (C) of RSS Act, 2019.
Pokharel, born in 2028 BS in Khotang, had entered civil service in 2052 BS. The RSS Act, 2019 mandates that an employee at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology can represent the Ministry to the Board of Directors in the RSS.
