Cabinet approves 13-day leave for COAS Sharma

COAS to visit India for medical check-up



KATHMANDU: The cabinet meeting held Wednesday has approved Chief of Army Staff General Prabhuram Sharma’s 13 days leave from January 2-14.

The Nepal Army said that COAS General Sharma would go to India for a health check-up during the period.

Meanwhile, the cabinet also recommended the President to assign Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Bal Krishna Karki the role of acting COAS during COAS Sharma’s absence.
