Prachanda pledges to establish CPN-Maoist Center as a reliable force



KATHMANDU: CPN-Maoist Center Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has assured to improve his political report based on the recommendations provided by the party leaders and cadres.

Responding to the queries in course of discussion on his political report, Chair Prachanda said the party would adequately address concerns and attention expressed towards its general convention. Pledging that he would begin from him to make the party pro-public and focus on to serve the country and the people, Prachanda asserted his belief that they would establish the party as the only reliable force of Nepal.

It may be noted that the political report of the Maoist chair was discussed by forming different 25 groups. The issues raised in course of the deliberations on the report were presented in the closed-door session on Wednesday and Thursday.

On the occasion, Chair Prachanda said the general convention of the party has also added new impetus to the country’s national politics. He added that the convention has drawn the attention of national and international community. “This is completely a different general convention in the party’s history,” Dahal claimed.

Claiming that the nurturing of thoughts has received prime attention from the very beginning of the conclave, he said the party now has focused on transformation and subsequently received eminent space in the history of communist movement.

He noted that the political report he presented in the closed-door session was the shared property and also assured that recommendations and inputs from all would be incorporated to improve the political document. (RSS)
