KATHMANDU: The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a case against three persons, including the ward chair of Ishwarpur Municipality-11 of Sarlahi, on the charge of taking bribe at the Special Court in Kathmandu Friday.

A case has been lodged against ward chairman Ram Dular Sah, ward members Sonelal Sah Rauniyar and Umesh Raya.

The charge sheet filed by CIAA stated that the three were found to have taken a bribe of Rs. 150,000 from the consumers’ committee for issuing a certificate of completion of construction of Bhulai road.
