Standard Chartered Bank appoints Gorakh Rana as Deputy CEO



KATHMANDU: Standard Chartered Bank Nepal Limited (SCBNL) has appointed Gorakh Rana as Deputy Chief Executive Officer.

Rana has banking experience spanning over 27 years with a deep knowledge of Nepal’s Banking Industry and has been representing Standard Chartered in several Industry and Regulatory forums.

He joined SCBNL in 1994 in Retail and Private Banking and moved to Corporate and Institutional Banking in 1996 where he has served in various capacities ranging from Relationship Manager, Senior Credit Manager, Head of Client Coverage, and Head of Global Banking & Commercial Banking.

Along with the role of deputy CEO, he will continue to Head Client Coverage, Corporate, Commercial, and Institutional Banking in Nepal.
