Truck ferrying goods worth Rs 6 mln and driver arrested



BIRGUNJ: Police have impounded a truck loaded with goods worth over Rs six million from Parwanipur of Parsa district.

Acting on a tip-off, Parsa police arrested the truck along with its driver on Thursday and sent them to the revenue investigation office, Pathlaiya.

Police took under control a cargo truck, Pradesh 2-03-001 Kha 0129, and its driver Nasrudin Miya, 33, of Parwanipur rural municipality-2, from Parwanipurchowk of Birgunj Metropolitan City-21, Parsa.

According to District Police Office, the seized goods are priced at Rs six million and have been handed over to the revenue investigation office for necessary action.
