KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Vice-Chairman Bhim Rawal has resigned in writing from the task force formed to implement the 10-point agreement.

Rawal stepped down saying that Chairman KP Sharma Oli “did not show interest” in implementing the agreement.

“The reluctance of the party chairperson to abide by the 10-point agreement for the unity and progress of the party has compelled me to resign from the task force,” Rawal has stated.

He has also expressed dissatisfaction over Chairman Oli’s failure to implement his commitment to addressing the agreement reached between the party establishment and the disgruntled faction of the party.
