President Bhandari visiting Buddha’s birthplace Lumbini today



BUTWAL: President Bidya Devi Bhandari is visiting Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha, on Sunday.

She will be flying to Lumbini from Pokhara in a Nepal Army helicopter, and would be attending a program at the Bhairahawa International Airport.

Chief Administrative Officer of the Lumbini Development Fund, Gyanin Rai, informed that President Bhandari is scheduled to arrive Lumbini by a Nepal Army helicopter by 11 am.

According to him, President Bhandari will inaugurate and pray at Bajrayan Vihar in Lumbini.

She will also visit the Mayadevi Temple today itself.
