Police nab two involved in hundi transaction worth Rs 3 million



KATHMANDU: Kathmandu Police has arrested two persons from Kuleshwor on allegation of hundi transaction worth Rs 3 million.

According to sources, a team of police deployed from Metropolitan Police Office, Kathmandu, nabbed two people involved in hundi transaction from the fruits market of Kuleshwor, Kathmandu on Tuesday afternoon.

Following the information that a fruit shopkeeper had been carrying out hundi transaction, the police raided 21-year-old Ramesh Timilsena, and recovered Rs 3 million seven thousand from the bag, the source said.

Police have also arrested Min Prasad Gautam, Kuleshwor, a fruit trader from Kavre Chauri Deurali in connection with the incident.

Police are investigating further for her details.
