JSP likely to elect PP leader today



KATHMANDU: Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal’s parliamentary party (PP) meeting underway in Singha Durbar, Kathmandu, is likely to choose its leader on Saturday.

According to JSP sources, a meeting held at the office of JSP parliamentary party (PP) at Singha Durbar has taken forward the process of selecting its PP leader.

“JSP Chairman Upendra Yadav is likely to be elected PP leader unopposed,” the source said.

A meeting of the party is being held under the chairmanship of senior member Mahindra Ray Yadav. 21 out of 32 lawmakers are present in the meeting.
