Internet facility to be installed in schools in 66 districts



KATHMANDU: The government is to make broadband internet service available at basic schools in 66 districts of the country.

The internet will be installed using funds from the Rural Telecommunications Development Fund.

Issuing a notice Monday, Nepal Telecom Authority has invited local levels in the district to sign the memorandum of understanding towards that end. The deadline is for 15 days.
