HoR meeting begins in New Baneshwor



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) has started at the federal parliament building in New Baneshwor on Wednesday.

The HoR meeting, which began at 1 pm, will run in zero and special hours, according to the Parliament Secretariat. Lawmakers of various political parties will present their views on contemporary issues during the period.

The meeting will pass a condolence motion on the demise of former minister Nabindra Raj Joshi and former lawmaker Laxmi Devi Bhandari.

NC leader Joshi had passed away on March 26 and Bhandari on March 29.

Prior to passing the condolence motion, National Natural Resources and Fiscal Commission and Development and Technology Parliamentary Committee will present their annual reports in the meeting, according to the Parliament Secretariat.
