India’s COVID-19 cases cross 12.1 million

NEW DELHI: India recorded 53,158 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 12,148,487.

Currently, 553,933 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 11,432,052 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 162,500-mark.

With 266 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 162,502, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometers.
