Kathmandu Valley sees 68 fresh COVID-19 cases



KATHMANDU: As many as 68 persons have been infected with COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 60 cases have been confirmed in Kathmandu, 2 in Bhaktapur, and 6 in Lalitpur.

Meanwhile, Nepal recorded a total of 105 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 2,70,959 in the country as of Sunday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that now the country has 2,594 reported active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 288 infected people got recovery from the virus infection.

So far, 2,66,336 people recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

Similarly, two more persons succumbed to the coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the total death tally to 2,029.
