Man nabbed with tiger hides in Dadeldhura



DADELDHURA: A man has been arrested with tiger hides in the district.

According to the District Police Office, Dadeldhura, Jagat Singh Bhandari, 29, of Ajaymeru Rural Municipality -1 has been arrested from Dasharathchanda Highway for smuggling tiger hides.

DSP Mahendra Nepal said a joint team of the Sudurpaschim Provincial Police Investigation Bureau and District Police Office, Dadeldhura arrested him with illegal hides while traveling on a motorcycle.

Police said that bear bile, a big tiger-like hide, and a small tiger-like hide were recovered from the arrested Bhandari.

He has been handed over to Division Forest Office, Dadeldhura for necessary action, according to the District Police Office, Dadeldhura.
