Two killed in Kailali road accident



KAILALI: Two people have died in a road accident that took place on the Pahalmanpur road section of Kailali on the East-West highway last night.

The accident took place when a tractor (Ma1Ta 542) collided with a motorcycle (Ba.1Pa.404) coming from the opposite direction.

The deceased have been identified as the motorcycle riders Govinda Budha,23, and Man Bahadur Budha,18, of Ghodaghodi municipality-10, Kailali, according to the spokesperson of the District Police Office, Pratik Bista. Severely injured in the accident, both died last night itself during treatment at the Ghodaghodi hospital.

Meanwhile, police have taken the tractor driver into custody for necessary investigation and subsequent action.
