Government to roll out COVID “booster dose”

KATHMANDU: The government has decided to administer booster dose vaccine against coronavirus to sick,, elderly people and those with less immunity.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, booster doses will be given to people on a priority basis.

The Ministry is currently holding discussions to categorize the people getting the booster vaccine.

It has been said that the booster dose will be given to people with low immunity, cancer patients, people who have undergone a kidney transplant, HIV patients, among others.
