Maoist Center Chair Prachanda proposes unity with JSP

KATHMANDU: Chairman of the CPN-Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has proposed unity with the Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP).

Speaking at a program held in Sarlahi Saturday, Prachanda proposed unification with the JSP in the presence of JSP leader Mahendra Raya Yadav, who was also at the program.

“I urge you (Mahendra Raya Yadav) to unite our parties. Why do you want to be limited to a regional party?” Prachanda told the leader.

Saying that JSP Chair Upendra Yadav knew him well, Prachanda said, “We have already formed an alliance. Now, let’s unite the parties without any delay. We will ensure the rights and respect you seek.”

Prachanda added that the party unity should be announced in Janakpur by making a quick decision. “Let’s unite our parties without fear. I will come to Janakpur. Let’s announce unity between our parties in Janakpur,” he said.
