Nepal sees 1,078 new COVID-19 cases, 12 deaths in last 24 hours

Kathmandu Valley witnesses 369 fresh coronavirus cases



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 1,078 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 898 persons tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 180 tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 267 persons in Kathmandu, 65 in Lalitpur, and 37 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for COVID-19, making the Kathmandu valley’s fresh coronavirus cases 369 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, 12 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 911 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.
