UML’s official conclusion HoR dissolution was correct move: Leader Thapa



KATHMANDU: CPN-UML leader Ram Bahadur Thapa ‘Badal’ said that the party’s official conclusion was that the dissolution of the parliament was a right move. Meanwhile, he acknowledged that there existed dissenting view within the party.

He said so at a press conference organized to provide information about the UML Statute Convention set to begin from Friday. Thapa is the coordinator of convention management committee.

UML Chair KP Oli is scheduled to inaugurate the convention at 12:15 pm tomorrow.

According to Thapa, around 7,000 delegates are expected to participate in the 3-day event and seats for delegates have been planned in the hall.

Office bearers and Standing Committee members would be placed on the stage and around 3,000 representatives will occupy the main hall. Similarly, accommodation has been arranged for expected 7,000 people.
