NEPSE decreases by 32.51 points



KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd (NEPSE) has decreased by 32.51 points on Thursday, the last trading day of the week.

With today’s decline, the index has come down to 2633.42 points.

A total of 7.32 million shares of 225 companies traded today resulting in a turnover of Rs 3.70 billion.

The share price of Development Bank Group decreased by 155 points, Hydropower by 2 points, Finance by 68 points, Non-Life Insurance by 104 points, Microfinance by 38 points, and Life Insurance Group by 101 points.

Despite the decline in the overall market, the share of the trade group has increased by 118 points.

Shares of Goodwill Finance, Premier Insurance, and Himalayan Power Partners decreased more than 6 percent today.

Shares of Nepal Finance, Manakamana Smart Microfinance Financial Institution, and Malung Khola Hydropower Company have increased by 10 percent despite the market slump.

Nepal Bank Limited recorded the highest turnover of Rs 120 million.
