KATHMANDU: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has expressed grief over the death of senior progressive literary critic Ananda Dev Bhatta.
Taking to twitter Monday, President Bhandari said the contribution of the progressive writer Bhatta to enriching the Nepali literature and the democratic movement would be always remembered.
The Head of State also paid tribute to the late Bhatta and extended condolences to the bereaved family.
वरिष्ठ प्रगतिवादी समालोचक‚ लेखक तथा चिन्तक आनन्ददेव भट्टको निधनको खबरले दु:खी भएको छु । नेपाली वाङ्मयको श्रीवृद्धि एवं लोकतान्त्रिक आन्दोलनमा उहाँको योगदान सदा स्मरणीय रहनेछ । स्वर्गीय भट्टप्रति भावपूर्ण श्रद्धाञ्जली व्यक्त गर्दै शोकाकुल परिवारमा गहिरो समवेदना प्रकट गर्दछु ।
