Journo Tripathi demands end of federalism and secularism, and restoration of monarchy

KATHMANDU: Senior journalist Dev Prakash Tripathi has announced a new political party demanding the end of federalism and secularism, and the restoration of monarchy in the country.

Announcing his party on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami, Tripathi said that his Ekikrit Shakti Nepal wants to end the demonic rule and wishes to the rule of justice, equality and democracy.

Citing that federalism and secularism have divided the erstwhile united country, he reiterated in the need to abolish federalism and restoration of monarchy in the country.

Senior journalist Tripathi said that a new party had to be formed to preserve the fundamental values ​​of the country.

He claimed that the Constitution comprises of some anti-national provisions which have to be amended.

“If we want to keep this constitution, we have to amend nine issues, from the preamble to various places,” Tripathi said.

He said that the newly established party wants to revoke provincial structure and strengthen the local level.
