1,144 new infection cases in Province 1 in past 24 hours

KATHMANDU: Province 1 has recorded 1,144 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours as of Friday afternoon. The infection cases were updated from the total 3,633 tests, said the Ministry of Social Development in the province.

The death toll from the deadly virus is 10 (seven women and three men) during the same period.

Of the infected, Morang district witnessed 191, Sunsari 187, Jhapa 157, Ilam and Dhankuta 16 each, Udayapur four, Khotang and Sankhuwasabha two each and Taplejung and Terhathum one each. Three infection cases are from outside the province. Three hundred ninety seven people have recovered from the infection in the meantime. RSS
