UML row: Second rung leaders intensify meetings to keep party united



KATHMANDU:  Second rung leaders of the CPN-UML have been active in resolving internal disputes of the party.

Leaders have intensified meetings to thrash out the growing dispute between party Chairman KP Sharma Oli and senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal and move forward uniting the party.

UML leaders Subas Nembang, Bishnu Poudel, Chairman Oli and senior leaders are engaged in discussions to narrow down the gap between Nepal and Oli.

Against this backdrop, Nembang met with Nepal on Thursday. During the meeting, with Nepal, Nembang urged him to meet Chairman Oli and discuss the issue of disagreement.

Nembang informed that Nepal is ready to meet Chairman Oli and hold discussions.

Another leader Bishnu Poudel is taking the initiative in narrowing down the differences between Chairman Oli and senior leader Nepal.

He will meet leader Nepal today to this effect.
