Nepse down 27.46 points in first two hours

KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) has taken a nosedive in the first two hours on Wednesday, the fourth trading day of the week.

The benchmark index plummeted by 27.46 points to reach at 2700.55 points during the period.

As many as 6,000,138 units of shares of 211 companies were sold out for Rs 2,753,600,000 during the period.

Nepal Insurance Company has witnessed the highest transaction of Rs 177,500,000.

Of 211 companies, 13 companies witnessed increment in their share, values while that of 165 companies decreased. The share value of four companies remained stable.
