Nepal records 4,369 new coronavirus cases in last 24 hours

Kathmandu Valley witnesses 1,093 fresh COVID-19 cases



KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 4,369 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 3,702 persons have tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 667 have been tested positive through the Antigen method.

According to the Ministry, 804 persons in Kathmandu, 176 in Lalitpur, and 113 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for the pandemic virus, making the capital valley’s fresh coronavirus cases 1,093 in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, 109 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 6,205 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.
