Ruling UML postpones SC meeting till tomorrow

KATHMANDU: The Standing Committee (SC) meeting of ruling CPN-UML has been postponed for tomorrow.

According to UML sources, the SC meeting was scheduled for 5 PM Sunday.

The reason for the postponement of the meeting has not been disclosed.

The meeting will now be held at 10 AM on Monday.

It may be noted that a previous UML Standing Committee meeting had sought clarification from 12 lawmakers who had gone against the decision of the party.

However, they have not furnished their clarification yet.

Ruling UML’s SC was expected to take action against 12 lawmakers apparently loyal to disgruntled Nepal-Khanal faction of the party.
