Humla sees 143 COVID-19 positive cases



SIMIKOT: As many as 18 people have tested positive for coronavirus in three villages of Humla district.

With this, the total number of infected people in the district has reached 143.

The number of coronavirus infection cases in the district has reached close to 150 after an increase in the number of tests conducted in Kharpunath, Sarkegard and Adanchuli.

Coronavirus infection has spread in six out of seven villages of the district.

Officials said that infection has been confirmed in 29 people in Simikot, 13 in Kharpunath, 23 in Sarkegard, 25 in Chankheli, 20 in Adanchuli and 33 in Tanjakot.

Only Namkha village in the northern region has not seen a single case of the coronavirus infection.
