Former Queen Komal being treated with plasma therapy



KATHMANDU: Former queen Komal Shah, who has been admitted to the hospital for coronavirus infection, is being treated with plasma therapy.

She has been undergoing treatment with plasma therapy from Thursday evening, according to Norvic International Hospital, Thapathali.

Former queen Komal was shifted to the ICU on Wednesday evening as she suffered from respiratory problems.

Meanwhile, former King Gyanendra Shah’s condition is normal and stable. He is also currently on normal oxygen support.

Similarly, former Princess Prerana’s condition is also said to be normal.

The former royals were admitted to the Thapathali-based Norvic Hospital last Saturday.
