KATHMANDU: Amid the ongoing political turmoil, Chairman of the Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist Center) Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has met Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba at the latter’s residence in Budhanilkantha on Tuesday afternoon.
According to a source in Deuba’s secretariat, the two discussed the latest political developments during their 20 minutes talk at NC President’s residence.
Earlier, Chairman Prachanda had also met Janata Samajbadi Party’s Federal Council Chairman Baburam Bhattarai today.
Maoist Center, NC and JSP have been holding talks to explore the way of forming alternative government against Prime Minister KP Oli.
Prachanda had recently announced that a new government would be formed soon.
