KATHMANDU: Chairman of Janata Samajbadi Party (JSP), Mahantha Thakur has said that his party will not support any no-confidence motion against the incumbent KP Oli-led government.

Speaking at a program organized to mark the 23rd anniversary of Reporter’s Club in Kathmandu, on Tuesday, JSP Chairman Thakur revealed that his party will not go against Prime Minister KP Oli as the latter has been working affirmatively on JSP’s agenda.

“Main political parties are undecided on their way out from the political impasse; there is no political stability in the country,” he said in the program, adding, “As PM Oli has taken initiation to address our agenda, we will not go against the incumbent government.”

However, leader Thakur did not specify the agenda PM Oli has addressed.

JSP Chair Thakur also pointed out that the province governments are not empowered enough to function on their own and are lying sans administrative rights till date.
