APF march on with victory over Waling in National Women’s League

KATHMANDU: Nepal Armed Police Force Club (APF) continued their winning streak with a 3-0 victory over Waling Municipality Syangja (WMS) in the National Women’s League match on Saturday.

Sabitra Bhandari scored in both halves and Preeti Rai added another as APF claimed their fifth consecutive victory.

Bhandari opened the scoring in the 13th minute for APF. Preeti Rai doubled the lead in the 71st minute before

Bhandari added her second in the 75th minute.

APF strengthened their lead over second-place Tribhuvan Army Football Club (TAFC). They now have an eight-point lead over TAFC who have a game in hand.

Waling, meanwhile, lies in fifth place with five points from five matches.
