Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll reaches 2,027 with two new fatalities

KATHMANDU: As many as two COVID-19 patients succumbed to the pandemic in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the new deaths have taken the country’s death toll from the coronavirus to 2,027 as of Saturday afternoon.

Likewise, Nepal recorded a total of 109 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 2,70,854 in the country as of Saturday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that now the country has 2,779 reported active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 350 infected people got recovery from the virus infection.

So far, 2,66,048 people recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

Similarly, two more persons succumbed to the coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the total death tally to 2027.
