PM Cup Final: TAC and APF locking horns for title today



KATHMANDU: The Tribhuvan Army Club of Nepali Army and the Armed Police Force Club are competing in the finals under the fourth edition of the Prime Minister Cup One Day Men’s Cricket Tournament on Saturday.

The match will be held at the Kirtipur-based Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground at 9 am.

The Army Club entered the finals after beating Bagmati Province by 94 runs in a match at the cricket ground on Thursday.

Invited to bat first after losing the toss, Army Club made 229 runs in the allotted 50 overs, losing nine wickets. While chasing the 230 runs target, Bagmati Province was restricted to only 135 runs in 40.2 overs at the loss of all wickets.

Winner will get Rs 1 million and the first-runner up Rs 500 thousand.
